State establishes Family Call Center
BATON ROUGE The state of Louisiana has established the national Find Family Call Center at 1-866-326-9393. This toll-free number has been established as an information and support resource for individuals and families who believe they have a family member who may have perished due to the hurricane.
The national Find Family Call Center is designed as a point of entry to help families begin the process of identifying their deceased loved ones.
LACCIE In cooperation with the Louisiana Shelter Task Force and Louisiana Sheriff's Association, the Louisiana Civil & Criminal Information Network (LACCIE) has developed this database to help register people who have been evacuated because of Hurricane Katrina. If your loved one is located at a shelter their name will be included in this list. Please check back often, we will be updating this website on a daily basis.
